Weather Notice for Outdoor Classes
Outdoor classes will proceed in light rain. In the event of extreme weather (heavy rain, extreme heat or high winds) sessions may be rescheduled. We will contact all participants at least 2 hours before the start time if changes occur.
GUNDOG
Our structured gundog training programme takes dogs and handlers from Bronze through to Gold level, developing the skills needed for both the shooting field and working tests. Training includes obedience, steadiness, hunting and retrieving, with dogs progressing to work with dummy launchers, cold game and a controlled introduction to shot. All classes are led by experienced trainers, providing professional guidance at every stage of your gundog journey.
Our gundog courses are suitable for complete beginners up to advanced levels. We often run cold game days, scurry, retrieves and specific training days i.e water retrieves, intro to shot.
Bronze- Control, heelwork, developing a retrieve, whistle work, socialisation
Silver- Stop whistle, blind retrieves, developing skills
Gold- Direction work, advanced retrieves, water retrieve, tailored breed work.
